About Food 4 thought:
The Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance supports people in Derby who are experiencing food insecurity, through food provision, signposting, support and advice.
They take all the referrals for Derby City. Once calling or completing an online referral, please allow 24 hours for them to respond.
To access this service, you can call them on 01332 227728, or make a referral on their website.
They partner with 17 food-based projects, including 6 community shops, community pantries, and traditional food projects. They also work with 30 local community meal-based projects.
They can also support individuals with clothing, school uniforms, furniture and Christmas dinners.

About Us
Derby City Mission offer food parcels for people in need. They will support you to explore the underlying causes of your difficulties, including exploring finance and benefits problems you might be having.
How to access
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 10am to 12 noon. Please attend our community shop and café.

About Us
Food bank which runs based on a membership basis from 12-2pm every other Saturday from 20.04.2024
They also offer a drop in service (individuals do not require a membership) to their pop-up street kitchen every Tuesday evening between 8-9pm next to the Bonnie Prince Charlie statue on Full street.
Location for the food bank: 142 Osmaston Park Road, Allenton, Derby DE248EY.
To obtain a membership, a professional referral is required. Should you wish to use this food bank, please contact Derby City Life Links, your social worker, support worker, teacher or anyone who works in a professional capacity and request a referral to be made on your behalf.
You will be asked to provide your details and reasons for requesting the membership. After which, you will be permitted to visit the foodbank, when open, to sign up for a membership card which allows you to visit the foodbank 12 times per annum.

About Us
We are a community grocer in Pride park who exist to help those who are struggling with the current cost-of-living crisis. Individuals can become a member for £5 per year and shop 3 times per week for £6 each shop. The items that are bought for £6, are valued at up to £25.
We are NOT a food bank and individuals would require funds to purchase items, however, we are certainly cheaper than supermarkets. Please see the flyer for more information!

Alongside the grocers is the Reach Community Hub where members can sit and have a cup of tea/coffee, relax and chat to our wonderful volunteers. There is also an area for your little ones to play in.

In the hub we run courses for members.
These include:

- Health and Wellbeing
- CV writing and employability
- Money Matters
- Arts and Crafts
There is no extra charge for the courses.

Warm welcome hubs were set up across Derby to provide a warm safe space for people to go to, have a warm drink and warm meal. There is also the chance to access signposting to support services that can help individuals with the cost of living crisis.
Warm Welcome Hubs:

- Distribute energy vouchers (subject to availability)
- Assist with online applications
- Assist with support – signposting to other organisations
