About Us
Our Derby Family Health team has launched a new text messaging service, so that both young people and parents and carers living in Derby city can get confidential health advice and support.
Young people and their parents can text for advice on issues such as sexual health, relationships, drug and alcohol use and physical health.
The team is made up of qualified school nurses, health visitors, community staff nurses and support workers, and can advise and support young people on a range of issues such as sexual health, relationships, drug and alcohol use and physical health.
Parents and carers of young children can get advice on issues such as bedwetting, feeding problems, behaviour and speech concerns.

Our code clubs are organised by libraries and sessions are run by trained volunteers. They teach children basic computer programming, including how to create computer games and animations. All for free.
