Peer Support

At Derby City Life Links, we believe that people who have lived experience of mental ill health are well positioned to encourage recovery in others. That’s why we promote a range of peer support groups, where you can meet like minded people and share mutual support.

We believe the best leaders of peer groups are the experts-by-experience and we celebrate the independence this can promote. For this reason, Life Links are here to provide a helping hand in setting up peer groups, so its members can grow and thrive.

We are particularly keen to help people develop structured ‘peer support’ groups, including hearing voices and anxiety groups. If you would be interested in this, or would like to volunteer some time to help run them, why not get in touch today? Our volunteer co-ordinator would love to hear from you!
