With Kindness as the theme of the week, we’re encouraging everyone to try out some random acts of kindness! Especially during lockdown, we could all do with a little kindness, don’t you think? Here’s what we’ve done – we hope it gives you some ideas!
We’ve picked out 100 random acts of kindness that can be done from your homes. We’ve then used a random number generator to allocate people a random act of kindness to try out during Mental Health Awareness Week. Everyone is involved – this includes people who are part of our one-to-one support, those who attend social groups and recovery education, members of our Service Development Group, volunteers and peer supporters.
We’ve also invited commissioners, colleagues in the statutory and voluntary sectors, our local MP, the people who clean our offices, Local Area Co-ordinators and colleagues in all sorts of departments within Richmond Fellowship. There really is no limit to who can be involved and how kind they’d like to be!
To top it off, we’re going to be blogging about people’s random acts of kindness, so keep your eyes peeled.
Thanks to everyone who is participating, we look forward to your responses!
