Our Recovery Education Courses are designed to help people learn ways to manage their mental health. In a group setting, they offer the opportunity to meet like-minded people and make friends, all whilst learning about wellbeing.  All of our courses are provided free of charge to anyone in receipt of benefits. Please bring proof of benefits to the first session. Courses are designed to be attended weekly so please enrol in advance by getting in touch

Anxiety Management

Do you or someone you care for suffer with anxiety? Are you looking for new ways of learning to cope? If so, this course could be for you. Our Anxiety Management Recovery Education Course aims to equip people with the skills to manage anxiety on a day-to-day basis, so that they can continue to enjoy life and flourish.

We all know the different ways that we can take care of our physical health – by visiting a gym regularly or eating well, but have you thought about how to look after your mind and help yourself feel calmer and more at ease?

Then why not visit mind gym, where we will help you train your mind to become stronger and build your mental muscles so you can deal with any weighty challenges in your life.

This group is free of pressures and expectations, just a loving, caring friend for your mind who truly listens to you. We recognise that this is your journey and so we will help you to recognise your individual potential and develop your skills and goals.

As a group, we respect each member’s privacy by agreeing that what a person chooses to share and discuss during the session will remain confidential. This is a positive and safe space, where everyone supports and encourages each other on their individual journey.

If you’re looking for ways to quieten your mind and reduce racing thoughts, we might have the answer!  Our ‘”Mindfulness or Meditation?”‘ Recovery Education Course introduces you to different forms of mindfulness to help stay in the here-and-now. What’s more, this course points out that not all mindfulness is about meditating, and gives you some tips on how to use it in every day life!
